hey guys i had a question. i have a 94 trans am and on the underbody where the selector cable plugs into the rod with the rubber cover on it and has the eyelid on the front of it, the eyelid part won't stay on the little groove or the little bar that it goes on. a little hard to explain with not knowing what its called exactly but it looks worn out but it docent have threads so i can't just put a nut on it for it to stay put.
the picture attached here is what I'm dealing with, on the left part of that rubber cover is the eyelid
