WOT OD kit installation questions.

So I've had these 9C1 wot od kits from GM for a few years now, and I'm getting around to wanting to freshen my transmission up. These things came with no documentation, and I can't find any literature on installing this thing online. Does anyone have any ideas on exactly how to do this?

Re: WOT OD kit installation questions.

If I remember correctly, they were for the early 700R4's. The 1988 and up transmissions require a different way to make the 3-4 WOT shift. Is this what you want to do here?

Re: WOT OD kit installation questions.

This is the kit I have. When I got it at the dealer, it was listed in the computer for 91> Caprice 9C1 cars. All I want to do to this transmission is install a Corvette servo, install this valve, and maybe a Corvette TC when I drop the new engine in. I won't be making any more than 300hp crank.WOT OD kit installation questions.-c0jk4.jpg
