LT1 clutch fork install

Do the metal tabs go over the pivot (the side facing us where the head of the bolt is) or under the pivot (away from us, under the pivot)

The tangs are bent upwards so it goes correctly over the tee.

Yeah, I pre positioned them to go under the pivot so when I got everything together and pushed the fork into place I messed up the clips. Guess I'll be pulling the trans to replace the clutch fork!

Can u not take the bolt out and then the fork while its still in the car?

It doesn't seem possible to me.

I also am having a huge leak on the rear main so need to pull the trans anyways. You could call it luck.
