Axle end gears?

Car: 1985 Camaro Z28
Engine: 355
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 7.5 with 4.11 gears
Axle end gears?
I have a 85 Iroc with a 26 spline 7.5 rearend. I want to upgrade the axles to 28 spline. Can I buy a set of axle end gears to swap out so I don't have to buy a new posi unit. I plan on buying a set of moser axles if I can change the gears, if not I guess I'll have to try to find a 88 or newer rearend. Any help would be great!!

28-spline axles won't fit through the hole in the carrier far enough to even get as far as the side gears.
