Best 700r4&TqConverter for under $2k
Hello, I am looking to replace my 700r4, which is slowly walking towards deaths door. (Hangs open while shifting for longer than it should, slips past 3/4 Throttle and shudders and hits on launch)
I'm looking to spend less than $2000 for everything. It is a daily driven car that I take to the strip once or twice a month. The car right now is a stock 350TPI that has headers and magnaflow exhaust. It may get more power in the future, but it won't be anything ridiculous.
The current set-up I am looking at is a BowTie Overdrive stage 2 and then a TCI Saturday Night Special Torque converter with a low to mid 2000s stall.
I plan on putting a big (like 10x16") trans cooler from Hayden to keep it cool.
I am open to all opinions and suggestions.
Thank you in advance for any replies.
