I Know that this has been posted before but here it goes. My question is about the trans in my 85 Iroc camaro and lockup. For Example my truck which is a facotry stock 92 silverado with a 350, at around 50-55 in 4th the converter will lock in and the engine speed drops.

My question is should my Iroc be doing this? Ive dropped a 350 in my car with a mild cam in it. est 300hp. The car orignally was TPI with a computer. I scrapped all this. it was junk and didn't run right. Does this trans need to lockup while in 4th? My IRoc right now runs around 2000 rpms at 53-57.

If this doesn't make sense i can explain better. Hopefully someone can understand what i'm saying and answer this lol..
