5 speed tail housing install
Hey everyone. I have a rebuilt WC 5 speed (1352-176). I took the tail housing off to swap the speedo drive gear. Now I can't get the housing back on. It seems to be hitting the rod that controls the gear in the tail housing. Nothing I can do seems to make that rod want to slip in it's hole. Any advice is appreciated.
No, I have not removed the top cover.
EDIT: Top cover removed. The fork in the tail housing that has a slider on it: the slider is not true to the shaft/gearing it's riding on. Inside the tranny, the pin on the bar that controls the fork : is not in the slot on the "rocker arm". How can i get that pin back in the slot on the rocker arm?
