vacuum tube on top of trans?

Car: 1988 Camaro, Holley 600 series.
Engine: 350 w/350 TPI heads
Transmission: 90+ 700R4
Axle/Gears: not sure
vacuum tube on top of trans?
I went and pulled my engine out and was looking on the transmission.. on the top there is a yellowish hose it looks like a vacuum tube or something.. What is this and why was it not hooked up to anything... What should it be hooked up to if anything?

Leave it alone. Make sure it is free of restriction otherwise your trans will spit ATF out the dip stick lol.
