T56 swap Wiring Harness protection ?

i just bought this from radioshack and woundering if its same as whats used in engine bay to protect the wire a alittle bit ? looks the same to me lol


as im going to use it for the Backup Lamp, Reverse Lockout Solenoid, and VSS wiring from trans to sgi5 box for protection and cleaner factory look idk if you guys are just letting the wires hang ? or doing the same thing im doing

any input is helpful

It'll melt pretty easy... not made for the heat

But who knows, might not be in a place that gets too hot for it; good luck.

thats what i wanted to know lol but its running on top of the trans.... i think it would be good factory used same type of stuff in the engine bay and temps get high

if it does melt i can take it off... i zip tied the wires every 4-5 inch

"Looks" the same as factory, doesn't mean it IS the same. Made of a different material.

yea plastic nylon and poly is the ones ive found
