There are only 3 TOBs for GM V8s. One is very tall; one is very short; one is just slightly taller than the short one. Doesn't matter what transmission, year, etc.
You need the short one. Looks like this.

I recently installed a new LUK clutch, and the TO bearing in the kit looked and felt like junk. The sleeve was plastic and although it said "USA" on it, I'm sure it was actually "USA manufacuring company of China". I threw it out and used the National one above with excellent results. Any auto parts store should be able to order this quality piece.
