I have a T-5 that I'm going to swap in place of my automatic. I'm having a difficult time finding the T-5 pedals. A buddy of mine "said" the T-56 pedals can me "adjusted/modified" to work with the T-5.

Is this true? Or can the 80's Mustang T-5 pedals work?

No the Frod pedals, with their stupid "cable" crap, won't work in our interior. After all, this IS a GM vehicle we're talking about on this forum.

The T-56 ones will "work" (if you cut the gas pedal section off) but don't have enough "throw" on the MC rod unless the while 4th gen hyd assy is also used.

There's 3rd gen T-5 crap EVERYWHERE. Some places, you can WALK down the sidewalk, and find it laying in the gutter. Now I'll grant you, you only claim to have access to 2 of the smaller markets in the US (NYC & LA), but still seems like it still shouldn't be too hard to come across one of these cars that's rusted in half or been wrapped around a telephone pole, if you're willing to be patient and wait for one to show up... should take no more than 30 seconds or so, at least on a Sunday. Maybe tomorrow being a weekday they'll show up quicker?
