I have a stock 1991 305 auto camaro. The car has been driving perfect for a while now. I was approaching a light in second(2), and down shifted to first(1). When I put the gear selector in 1, the car rolled freely until it slowed to about 8mph, then I could hear and feel the engine engage/tc lock.

When this happenes I can rev the engine freely, as if I am driving a stick and pressed the clutch in. The car takes off fine in 1 or drive, and drives fine.

What could the problem be? Id rather fix it now, then have bigger problems down the road.
