Converter lockup control without tpi

My son and I are considering eliminating his tpi when we install his new 350 and go with a carb setup. My question is what do we need to do to keep the computer controlling the converter lockup ?

You don't have the inputs ( CTS /TPS / etc ) left with a carb for the computer to control the lockup ;
Computer usually gets delete entirely
