I'm looking at swapping my motor and I would really prefer a manual trans. I thought I'd ask TGO if anyone has done this and what it cost them. I'm not sure If there's a kit somewhere out there or if you just have to use parts from another car, anyways if you know anything about this please let me know.

 

You can get kits, depending on what tranny you want. Piecing it together is almost always cheaper just more time consuming. Looking at anywhere from $1200-$2200 for the swap. All depends on the tranny and how cheaply you can acquire it and its necessary accessories. Some trannies themselves go for $1200.
