I'm just curious if one would fit. I've noticed there are some cheap DOM steel shafts on ebay from Nascar teams. They have 1350 yokes and I'm guessing are good quality drive shafts. I just don't know if there would be room for one, especially with an off the shelf drive shaft loop like I have. Obviously they would have to be shortened to fit, but still probably a good deal. Any thoughts?

I have a 3.5" aluminum one...there's not a lot of room or anything bigger

My car is in storage so I don't have anything to look at in person. But I'm wondering where it is the tightest. I think you're right, that a 4" wouldn't fit but just curious if anyone has made one work. I'm building a Ford 9" rear and trying to decide if I want to upgrade my stock aluminum driveshaft at the same time. I haven't found much about how fast anyone has run with a stock shaft.
