Have any you guys ever heard of a 5l60e auto trans swapped in a third gen f body.I always here about the the t56 and the 4l80e ,4l60e, and i have never heard anything about the 5l60e being used in a third gen.

I have a 6L90E in my 2012. It shifts amazing. WOT shifts at 6k. Coupled with a aftermarket controller (like a megashift) it would be a nice transplant into a fbody.

Best I can find is a custom adapter a shop made to mount one to a LSX .
Sorta like fitting a P/G to a Ford or Mopar V8
