What something is worth is what someone is willing to pay for it. Any diff can be picked up at the local junkyard for around $100 although chances of finding one with what you want may be slim.
I sold a complete 9" with 4.10 gears, aftermarket 31 spline axles and a factory posi for $800. It was what someone wanted and they were willing to pay that much.
If you want a complete diff, that's one thing. If all you want is to upgrade to 4.10 gears, that's something else. Depending what you already have, it might be easier to just do a gear swap.
