Re: G-force t5?
I had mine done several years ago ...Can it be done yes for a price ..Mine was built by Hanlon motor sports with all G-force internals including bronz shifter forks set up for SCCA road racing it can take 7200 rpm power shifts ( No Lifting the Gas here !!) from a NOS sniffing small block 358 all day long
If I had to do it today considering how easy it is to to the the Swap even I would Do a T-56 money wise it is the best way to go ...

Because you really cant beat the strength and price when all is said and done. T5 with gforce everthing will run you over 2k. For that price your in TKO territory which i have. Even coming from someone who has a tko..id say go the t56. My tko is a headache.

Re: G-force t5?
It's not really the gears that are weak, its the T-5 case.

Re: G-force t5?
Agreed G-Force has solved this issue by changing the helical cut on the gears less load on the case however .. A lot better setup with a T-56 you can run 4:10 or even 4:56 gears out back and drive it on the highway all day long 6 gears or or 5 you do the math

Re: G-force t5?
Yup; the G-force thing, or one or 2 similar other, is pretty much all there is, for people who HAVE TO run a T-5 (rules of a sanctioning body for example); but for anybody without such a constraint, it's AHELLUVALOT of money in exchange for AHELLUVALOT LESS THAN what you get with a T-56.
