Anyone here have BF Goodrich G-Force Z rated tires on their car?
I am thinking about getting them for my car. I can get them for about $116 a piece. I have BF Goodrich Comp T/A ZRs on the car now, and I liked them alot. but they discontinued them now and the G-force is the replacement. I just want to know how they are.
Thanks!

i will tell you about a tire i found to be unbelievable was the pacemark directional tire that you can get at canadian tire you wouldn't think that they would be good coming from there but i could notice the better handling and cornering those tires give my car not to mention there durability i could smoke them all day and bairly scrath the treads this is my 2 scents but these tires are remarkable.

WC GTA,
I too went from Comp T/As to the G-Force KDWs. The KDWs are very nice tires. I think they basically do everything better than the old Comps. Ride, handling, & noise are all improved. Only bad thing is that they aren't offered in P255. I had to go with P245/50ZR16 on all four corners. I plan on auto-Xing them in the spring too.

Re: Anyone here have BF Goodrich G-Force Z rated tires on their car?
im using the G-Force T/A KDWs, 245/40/18 front, 335/30/18 rear, with the flame like pattern. They are pretty good, but the do seem to wander a bit at higher speeds, 90+. But they do have quite good wet and dry traction. i had to drive almost 50 miles home from a meet in a torrential downpour this summer. My car doesn't really even see rain and i've never driven it in its current state in rain like that before, and wasn't very confident that i would have a good drive home. But i tell you what, driving home was a blast, the car was just glued to the road the whole way, never slipped/slid once and i was driving faster than i should have been.
but yea, old thread

Re: Anyone here have BF Goodrich G-Force Z rated tires on their car?
I have g-Force sports on my car, Im simply amazed by them. They have a directional tread pattern, which makes it a good wet tire (atleast 10 times better than my old khumos). Ive put about 5000 miles on the tires, laid down quite a few strips, and the tires still look new, they are wearing quite nicely. Good traction, good handling, good wear, nice look, and theyre cheap. I suggest them to anyone.

Re: Anyone here have BF Goodrich G-Force Z rated tires on their car?
I had BFG KDW g-force on my Camaro and was not impressed at all. As someone above has already stated, they wander above 90mph (88 mph to be exact on my Camaro). They are an average performance tire- much better out there, but at a cost.
As much as I hated the KDW tires on the Cmaro, I just put some new G-force "Sport" tires on my girlfriends Mercedes 320sport. They are an improvement over the regular KDW's, but still not he greatest. Tread does look great though, and they are a bit wider than the narrow rounded stance KDW tires. She likes the looks, amd does not drive fast- good for her and they are wearing decent after about 5k. I expect she will get 25K out of them driving normal.
On a scale of 1-10, I give the KDW tires a 6, and the sports a 7.5. The Goodyear GS-D3's I give a 9.5 (not a 10 simply because of a tad bit of feeling loss on corner turn in.- you get used to it though and gain back all confidence)

I've got the g-Force Sports on my car and they aren't a bad tire. Not had anything better, though. Wanting to get something better next time if I can afford it. Not a bad tire for the money, IMO.

Re: Anyone here have BF Goodrich G-Force Z rated tires on their car?
...(grinning).....Mine went from a V6RS to a V6RSR.....I added the last R for "raceprepped".........or was it "rails"........ or was it "really cool"....... or maybe it was "rocket"......(scratches chin).....Nope, It definately wasn't "rocket".
My license plate read "On A Rail" meaning On rails as in cornering hard (On rails was taken), but I did not have any RSR badging on the car, thats just something I labeled it around here for one of my MANY screen names I was forced into having.
I have a new toy now, It is not going to have a label either, matter of fact I am taking the emblem off it and replacing it with something much more fashionable. Its a 1985 Cadillac Eldorado and it will be sporting a nice set of 36" Longhorns on the hood in place of the orniment. Figured this redheaded stepchild west coast NASCAR boy needed to up my southern image at the local tracks- gotta fit in with the good ol' boys. Attal fit the look. THe plate will be CAL RDNK. Maybe I will sport a TEX355 on the hood- we'll see.
Yeehaaaaaa
