I have the 80692 console shifter, but i have a 4ft cable for it, will that work with a 700r4 tranny? and with the neutral safty switch is there a reverse switch as well?

 

4 ft will do.......Is it the cable that came with the shifter? If not, will it work with the bracket you have?

There are two switches; one for the neutral/park start and one for the reverse lights. There is also a relay that some use and some do not. My shifter came with it so I installed it. I think you used to have to go to Radio Shack and buy it separately though.

If you are missing one of the micro switches, I believe Summit has them for about $10 or so.
