Car: 92 Z28/86 T/A/98 R/A T/A
Engine: 355,355,LS1
Transmission: T-56,700r4,T-56
Axle/Gears: 3:73,3:42,3:42
Best Gears to buy???

I am going to swap my rear out in my car but want to keep a 3.73 gear. The richmonds I have now drive my wife insane, me not so much because I am use to it. I am looking for some that won't whine!!! Should I go with Factory and if so best place to get them. I know I don't want to run used never had a used set that didn't whine..Help me out guys want to get this done soon, bout time to be cruzing....Thanks....

If they were set up correctly they probably wouldn't make any noise. Most gears make noise because the pinion depth and backlash are not set correctly. I've set up many richmond gears that were completely quiet. If you want OEM gears Randys Ring & Pinion sells them. Tom's Differentials also may have them. OEM gears are made by AAM and Tom is a AAM dealer. They cost more than other gears.
