I have an '82 Z28 with a Chevy 350 HO motor attached to a Saginaw 4-speed tranny. The other day I blew out the reverse gear and have been thinking about swapping to a 5-speed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which tranny I should consider? I've read a lot about the t-5 but it seems that it's torque rating may fall a bit short for my engine. Any suggestions?
