Im sorry if this has been asked a ton of times.. There are so many threads about this and some of the terminology I dont know yet.

Here is what i am trying to do.
I have a 1983 T/A with a Goodwrench 2pc RMS 350 and the original 700r in it. 3.23s

I have a doner car 1989 l03 WC t5 firebird with l03. 3.08

I know the flywheel wont work so my guess is that i can just order one for a 1985 firebird... correct? This will have Hydrolic clutch and 2pc rms..

Now the speedo thing im a little iffy on.
The doner has a vss.

What parts do i need to make it mate with my factory cable driven speedo on the TA?

I know from the stickys I need ACDelco 3987918 Speedometer Driven Gear: Check.
And I will need the "blue 7-tooth drive gear".. what is the P/N of this? The sticky doesnt say.

Also i read i just need a th350 "bullet".. is that ALL i need or is there more to it?

So far the only parts I have are in these 2 cars.. I dont have piles of stuff to pick from and I hope to not have this car down for weeks trying to source this stuff. Also im kinda a GM noob so I dont even know what the speedo connections look like yet when they are off. All I ever messed with is mopars.

Double check but for 3.23 and a cable t5 you need.

I has trouble getting a 7 tooth gear for a good price. PTAC had them for $40 I ended up finding a NOS one on ebay for $10

I was able to reuse the VSS retaining tab but I had to drill a new holt where it mounts to the transmission.
