Should I flush my trans?

I purchased a 700R4 and an Edge torque converter from ProBuilt Automatics about 8 years ago or so. It is for an 84 Camaro, and it has been sitting for the last 3 years. The trans only has about 3,000 miles on it (if that).

I'm getting ready to get the car up and going again, but I'm wondering if I should flush the trans out or just keep using the fluid that is in there.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
