My shifter cable bracket that attaches to the trans pan is so weak I can bend the part where the cable mounts with my fingers. The cable (both stock) is also Pretty trashed.
I got the B&M bracket and linkage kit thinking I would just swap it in. The bracket is way sturdier than the stock one, but only works with the B&M cable, which it seems only works with the B&M shifters! I don't really have the 200+ bucks for a new shifter right now either.
Is there a way to make the B&M cable (any of them) work with the stock shifter?
