factory transmission

This may be a silly question, but i can't get a 100% answer.

I just want to know what stock transmission came with my camaro.
Also, what transmission should i be thinking about for a LS1 swap?

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: factory transmission

If it's the car in your profile, it's a 700-R4 aka 4L60.

Usual auto trans for going with a LSx motor is the 4L60E.

Re: factory transmission

If it is a stick then it is the T5. If an auto then what sofakingdom posted.
