tranny mounts???

a couple days ago i was driving and started to hear banging/popping sounds when i was braking. yesterday after work i crawled under and noticed that one of my insulater bushings is missing on one side of my crossmember that the transmission is missing and the mount its self is leaning a little, im goin to replace those today, but my torque are doesnt seem to be mounted to anything in the front either, im not sure how it was mounted before, anyone know, or possible know of anything else that may need replacing or adjusting while im doing this

Looks like your torque arm bushing is simply ... missing one half of itself. No biggie; just get an ES one. Obviously you have the type where the lips of the "W" face inward, which knowing that, means you won't have to buy both and return the one that doesn't match your car. Should be this one. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ens-3-1112g/overview/

Not many of these cars came with that 2-pc crossmember. Probably less than 10%. Not sure if you can even get those biscuit bushings any more, although being just a plain old run-of-the-mill biscuit, there's almost certainly something you can get that will fit right in there, if you can just figure out how to identify it. These here might work but I don't know for sure. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mre-kj01001/overview/ Probably be wise to change out both sets. Best thing to do though, might be to just go hit up yer local buzzard nest and see if they're sittin on any of the more common style of crossmember.

I'd suggest changing out your trans mount since you can clearly see it's broke in half and the trans is sitting about an inch off to the pass side.

You won't believe how much different your car will feel with all that destroyed stuff renewed. I'm surprised you can even still stand to drive it, looks pretty much unbearable.
