Ring and Pinion Help

I just picked up a used ring and pinion from a friend. It came out of a 7.5 78 el camino. I have a 85 camaro z28. The Ring is stamped with Richmond 80-0358-1 and the pinion is stamped with 80-0359-1. They are 3.73s

I'm wondering if this will fit in my rear end and what series carrier it uses because I do plan on buying a posi unit. I have a peg leg right now. Thanks

Re: Ring and Pinion Help

If your Camaro has the 7.5 rear end then it will fit. I can't tell you what series differential it fits. You might check the Richmond web sight or just do a google search with that number and see what comes up.
