Where does my speedo cable connect to my t5 trans?

I was wondering where my speedo cable connects to my transmission. The gauge isn't working and I'm not sure if its a broken cable, bad pinion gear, or the gauge itself is broken. If anyone has any tips for me on how to fix this it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Driver's side rear near the mount; right below the torque arm bracket.
