Call me Crazy 8 3/4 MOPAR
I have gone as far as I dare go on a GM 9bolt 1.6 sixty foot time 11.78 quarter time soo I am looking to upgrade I even had a friend bring a ford nine inch to me from my old shop in Texas . Needs work off a pickup truck 3.0 open... nothing exciting
I have Local friend with 74 Dodge dart with a 340 in it I helped him find a wiring issue that has prevented it from running for two years ... any how he is a professional welder and has a spare 8 3/4 rear that is only 1/2 shorter than my nine bolt. He is willing to weld up all brackets make it ready to go for $150 what to do what to do .. A Mopar in my Chevy wife would be happy she has a dodge Challenger ...

Re: Call me Crazy 8 3/4 MOPAR
A truck 9" is not a good swap because it will have thicker, heavier tubes than a car 9" and this may apply to some Ranchero / station wagon 9" axles.

the mopar axles are factory 30 spline it is lighter than the FD and dang near as strong the only issue I see is what to put together for rear disk brakes I like what I have now going to have to fab something up
