T56 swap planning, okay to use stock LT1 flywheel?

I just picked up a T56 last weekend and I'm trying to piece together my parts list and I'm a little confused on the flywheel. I have a 1 piece RMS internally balanced 350 and the lt1 engines should be too right? I'm reading that they are internal and others are saying external. I don't wan't to put an external balanced flywheel on it. If anyone has some input on that i'd appreciate it. If I can use the stock lt1 type Autozone stock replacements are 37 pounds. Is that a good weight for a street car with 400hp and 3.73's or should I try to find something lighter? My next question is what I need for the throwout bearing. I have the fork and stud bolted on but does the throwout bearing just slide over the input shaft then the fork connects to it and that's it? Or are there other parts involved? I'll include a picture of what I have. I'm brand new to transmission and clutch work so I may have a few questions. Thanks fellas

A stock GM flywheel is lighter and works.

Summarized: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/post...82-post17.html

A 93-97 F-body V8 throwout bearing is clipped to the pressure plate.
The fork needs popped outwards / down.
When the trans. is bolted up, the fork is popped inwards so it's two tines go into the throwout bearing. Go pop your fork in and out, then google "LT1 T56 clutch" and you'll see the pressure plate / TOB assembly.

You need an aluminum spacer that fits two studs in the bellhousing. Two nuts hold the slave cylinder over the studs, against the spacer. Again, google pics and "oh, that makes sense" will come to you.
