Car: '88 IROC
Engine: 350
Transmission: 5 Spd
Tranny upgrade project
Ok folks, I need a bit of help and guidance! I'm currently running a t5 behind my 350 and needless to say, it's just not cutting it. I wanna run my car hard, on both street and strip but I'm not sure where to go from here. I want to stay with a 5 speed manual but I need it to hold up when I slam it thru the gears. Any suggestions as to which tranny I swap in? I'm thinking one out of a vette?? But I'm just not familiar enough with trannys to really know for sure!

T-56 out of a 94-97 F body. Far and away the eeeeeeziest and best upgrade from a T-5.
If all you want is a 5-speed, then, just don't use 6th.
