Engine: 2.8, 5.0
Transmission: both 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42,3.45
6 cyl 700R4 torque converter behind a 305?

Are the torque converters behind a 2.8 interchangeable with a V8 TC?
I haven't had either apart to check; or am I crazy to think it?

No, the input shaft is different.
