Axle/Gears: 9-bolt Limited Slip
Decodeing Tranzilla Trans

I recently bought a Tranzilla t56 and was wondering if you guys could help me decode it the part number is t56-016 and the BOM# is 08131262. trying to find out what kind of internals it should have and what kind of power it should hold.

dig through Rockland's site. :shrug:
They have some generic codes (which your T56-016 may be) that mean very little. The other one probably narrows down what's in it.

They also build transmission, not just ones with custom gearsets. I'd pop the front plate off and count teeth just to see if the headset and 3rd are stock; that would tell a bit.
