Quick Time Performance 9" Housing
What's the latest regarding QTP's 9" housing?

I had read, and I'm not sure it's relevant, that there's an issue with how the torque mount is attached to the housing and how the torque arm attaches to it. At least I think that was the issue. I never fully understood what the problem was.

Why not PM five7kid and e-mail Quick Perf?
Quick is what I'd use if I wasn't able to adapt cheaper and stronger salvage-yard rears.
Any competent metal-fab guy could add some triangulation if Quick hasn't revised the design.

I did contact five7 and he sent me a few pictures of the broken pieces.
This was just a preliminary search on my part. Now it looks as though I'll give the Dana 44 one more chance. I believe I've found someone who has experience working with these. That and I still need to source a COMPLETE set of made in USA bearings. Of the six bearings in this rear axle, eleven of the components were US built. The twelfth part, made in India. Guess which part failed?
