700r4 tv cable won't slide out freely

I just got done rebuilding my holley carb on my 91 Camaro with a 350. I hooked everything back up and tried to adjust the TV cable. I have the correct adapters on the linkage from holley. Everything worked fine before I took the carb off. When I try and adjust it, it ratchets out but the cable doesn't move out. It just pulls the black ratchet part out. When the throttle is at idle the cable is very loose and just dangling there. I tried to pull on the cable by hand and it won't budge at all. Any ideas on what could have happened? I am thinking maybe the cable disconnected from the transaction where it mounts to it maybe.

TV valve stuck or bad cable.

Well I figured it out. The cable disconnected from inside the transmission. Re-installed it and everything works fine now.
