Built 10 bolt?
Ill be installing a posi when I rebuild my 91 RS' 28 spline 10 bolt. Im curious as to if a refreshed and girdled 10 bolt will handle a mild 5.3 LSx? I plan on swapping later this year and am curious as to how far I could build it before i'll need to up to a 9". Thanks!

Not sure exactly what is meant by "handle", but, considering that LS1 4th gen cars came with 10-bolts essentially identical to ours...

Most ten bolts I see hold up just fine. Once you start running sticky tires and dumping the clutch, that's when reliability takes a downhill turn. With street tires I wouldn't be too worried about it unless you plan to beat the crap out of it non stop.

Re: Built 10 bolt?
Yeah that is a big variable. Mine has been fine in my swap and I dont think you would make much more power than me with a "mild" 5.3 and I drive mine like I stole it with 4.10 gears which are weaker than other ratios like 3.42s or 3.23s. Once i head and cam the LT1 the 10 bolt will probably be a ticking time bomb haha.
