T56 throw out fork question
I have a 383 (350 w/ 400 crank), running a Quiktime 6022 bell housing. The 6spd I'd from an '07 Camaro. I was looking at the throwout fork and the factory T5 one appears too long and the T56 one looks to be the right length but won't work with my throwout bearing. What throwout fork should I use? Also does anyone have a copy of Keisler Engineering installation directions? Thank, Mike

Re: T56 throw out fork question
Camaros were not built in 2003-2009, so an '07 trans is not from a Camaro.
T56 from behind an LT1* used a hydraulic master/slave to a conventional fork, to a "reverse", pull-style clutch. *LT1s were in Camaros from 93-97.
Anything else used a hydraulic throwout bearing. No fork involved.
QuickTime 6022 - this bellhousing is for a 4 speed. You needs something different to run a T56.

Second, you're throwing out years and parts that don't work together without additional parts changes or significant modification.
Slow down, quit expecting a 30 second solution to all things T56 swap and post pictures of what you actually have in-hand. That will allow others to help.
