Car: 1991 camaro rs 5.0 tbi
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock
Car shuts of when put in gear and smoke from tourque converter I think
okay so I just put in a used 700r4 in my 91 tbi 305 camaro rs. But when I start it up and put it in gear and let go of the brake it will shut off or when I put it in drive it will jump and then shut off.....also I notice there was a noise with smoke coming out of the torque converter I THINK and I realize a leak coming from the passenger side and when I check the dip stick it was really really low on trans fluid....yes I hav a lot on my plate right now

Put the required amount of fluid in and make sure the cable is adjusted correctly.
