hi guys im in the uk got a 84 trans am with a 350 in it and a dead nwc t5,converting to auto managed to get hold of a th700r4 (1992)box,got peddle box out of a breaker coming,apart from that what else will i need,cross member i no what about prop,box ive got is 31 spline i believe any 3rd gens run that prop

Cross member is the same, drive shaft is the same. Exhaust mount on tail shaft is different, as well as torque arm mount. Is the 700R4 out of a F-body? If the auto isn't out of an F-body it will be a huge pain to make it work with this car.

In my opinion, DO not change it to an auto car. Manual f bodies are kinda tough to come bye. But that's just my opinion.

He has a point. manual cars are hard to come by and therefore worth more than their automatic counterparts.
