Question. Mtg 89 has a crate 350 installed in it with a stock rebuilt 700r4. I need a kickdown cable for it. Do u kno if one from a 305 stock will work for it? Everything is there the cable is just cut.

 

If your 89 has TBI, you need a cable from an 88-92 TBI camaro. Engine size has nothing to do with it.

 

its carbed. but this is wut i get for listening to someone. the cable is there, the end just came loose of the throttle. i have to find out what i need to reconnect it, and how long it needs to be and such. im going to call a trans shop tomorrow and see.

 

It's not a kickdown cable, it's a TV cable. It being set correctly is critical for transmission life. Get an AC Delco one, stay away from aftermarket.

 

Well like I said it is there. Just gonna have a trans shop help me set it.
