Flywheel problems

I was just trying to figure out if the engine was seized. I can move the flywheel about 1/4 inch in each direction and it seems to get more and more room to turn each time. What does this mean?

Re: Flywheel problems

Prolly rust in the cylinders.

Take all the plugs out and shoot abuncha penetrating oil in em and try some more.

Odds are, if in fact that's the problem, it needs a rebuild, "seized" or not.
