Is replacement speedo gear correct?
In my 86 TA, my speedometer gear slipped off and was chewed up. I have found a possible replacement p/n 1359271 but the design is completely different. Will this still work? I have a pic of one similar to mine and a link to the new one. Any advice will be great.

Bump, any input would be great.
Re: Is replacement speedo gear correct?
No , the Ebay gear you found is totally different . It says it's for a "Powerglide" which is a two speed transmission , where your 700R4 is a four speed . Doesn;t one of the stickies at the top of the page list speedometer gears and part #s for them ? Thread Starter

I used the stickies p/n and that was all I could find. Do you happen to know anywhere I could look.
