Drag racing my lsx/t56 car

Hey guys, just wanted to share some videos with ya! here's a few from this past weekend. Car is a carbed 370" lsx with a t56. i went a new best of 10.40 @ 132.15 mph in it this weekend

an in car video of the 10.40 pass

some slow motion videos of the launch to try to get a handle on the suspension. it's coming along, a few changes should have it working even better

thanks man it's truly a fun ride. I see you have quite the setup in your sig. how's your car run? i'd think it could be near what mine runs.

I haven't had it to the track with this set up. After seeing your video I had to go home and start mine up...lol What gear are you running?

Re: Drag racing my lsx/t56 car

this video was a 4.30 gear and a 28x9 m/t stick shift specific slick (3054ST)

it's not enough gear. too much wheel speed at the hit and not enough RPM through the traps. i'm gonna go to a 4.56 gear. hoping that will get me real close.

of course, this happened on the next pass so i gotta change anyway:

Re: Drag racing my lsx/t56 car

Ouch...that sucks! I plan on changing gears over the winter. I bought the rear from a guy doing a turbo car and it has a 350 gear. I was thinking 430 with the t56 but didn't know if it was too much gear since I still drive it on the street.

with a t56, you'll never know it has that deep of gears. even with the 4.30's on a 28" tire, i don't use 6th gear, even on the highway, lol. it's gonna love the 4.56's. can't wait!
