T-5 teeth broken on 5th gear. Why and how to replace?

Axle/Gears: 02 SS Torsen Zexel 3.42
T-5 teeth broken on 5th gear. Why and how to replace?
Hey guys. Picked up this T-5 from a V8 earlier today. Upon inspection there are a total of 3 teeth gone from the 5th gear assembly. How does this happen? Rest of the transmission looks fine visually.

Post a pic of the reverse gear. Betcha that's where they came from.
