i found this in the pumpkin dif. of a rearend i bought some time ago.
The rear end is a disk break posi out of a 89 iroc. i was told the piece of metal is a clutch? All the teath on the gears are intact. Where can i buy this piece?

The picture is out of focus, so it's hard to tell for sure. It looks like it might be part of a clutch disc from a Governor Lock differential. It could also be one of the differential shims.

If it's a piece of a clutch disc from a Governor Lock then don't bother trying to replace it. Just replace the whole differential. The Gov Lock is not a good differential for a performance car. They break a lot. Get a new Eaton Posi, Yukon Dura Grip or a Power Trax Grip Lok.
