I'm getting a 1988 T5 with VSS. According to it's tag it's a 1988 F Car lO3 TBI 5.0L V8 WC Code U. My **** end is a 9 bolt 3.27. My cars a 87 GTA 5.7 Liter with 700R4 right now. The tires are the factory 245/50/16 so I believe its a 25.6 inch height. Since it's out, I'd like to have the right speedo gear. I read the sticky about this, and now there's smoke coming from my ears. Am I just changing the gear that's on the T5 tail shaft? If it even needs to be changed. Is it one gear or two that need to be changed?

I would need a blue 7 tooth drive gear, and brown 18 tooth driven gear. For a VSS, which of course no one makes...so now I have to time myself between light posts.
Dakota digital sgi-5 can be used to calibrate the vss signal.
