I'm getting a 1988 T5 with VSS. According to it's tag it's a 1988 F Car lO3 TBI 5.0L V8 WC Code U. My **** end is a 9 bolt 3.27. My cars a 87 GTA 5.7 Liter with 700R4 right now. The tires are the factory 245/50/16 so I believe its a 25.6 inch height. Since it's out, I'd like to have the right speedo gear. I read the sticky about this, and now there's smoke coming from my ears. Am I just changing the gear that's on the T5 tail shaft? If it even needs to be changed. Is it one gear or two that need to be changed?

Just updating my own post. So after some more reading, I think I get it now. Just wanted to double check. I would need a blue 7 tooth drive gear, and brown 18 tooth driven gear. For a VSS, which of course no one makes...so now I have to time myself between light posts.
