Speedo gears TM350

Is there any way the scroll gear is not lining up with the speedometer gear?
The tailshaft housing does not look like it originally was part of this tranny as it is a different colour.
The speedo has never worked since I got the car.

Re: Speedo gears TM350

The scroll gear seems to be moved to the rear. Can this happen, or how can I move it forwards?

Sorry, I meant TH350.
Does anyone know what is involved in moving the driver gear back to its correct place?

Just torn it down and found that the previous owner had glued the gear on the shaft. Just ordered replacement gears and a clip.
