Is this a good price for this setup?
What do you think? It sounded decent to me, but I'm not as well informed as most on here. If there's anything out there that can beat this, I'd like to hear about it. It's an Eaton style diff.... And don't forget, I don't race my car, so I don't need anything made of nuetronium for hardness. Just normal everyday driving is all I do in this thing, with an aggressive pass here and there for fun.

I don't know Sofa, that's one thing I was a little concerned about too. But you can click on the store and/or email them I guess if you needed to know bad enough.

I'm not the one who needs to know...
You're the one who would want to know if you're financing the Red Army, if they were built with slave labor someplace, etc. ... whether you have any recourse to anyone anywhere in any way if you have trouble with it; whether any repair parts at all can be obtained, should you need, for example, to rebuild the clutches or replace the springs; and so on. Who knows whether actual Eaton parts would fit it. (probably not)
Personally, I wouldn't buy it; wouldn't accept it if given to me for free. I'd stick with known quantities. Eaton or Yukon posi; Precision, Dana, US Gear, Motive, Superior, etc. gears; and so forth. (I wouldn't use the Richmond drag race gears for ANYTHING except a totally dedicated single-purpose strip-only trailered race car, in which case I probably wouldn't use anything else) Not worth trying to shave pennies off of the cost.

LOL....Built by Putin Inc., but you're right, just trying to gauge reactions from people who know the equipment. Thx, this is the kind of input I want. Most of the time $4-600 is the price for differentials according to what I've seen online. Unless you just go over the top for something that's better than what you need.
Re: Is this a good price for this setup?
Quick Performance sells a similar kit for a little less money. Their kit has the Yukon Dura Grip, Motive gears from Korea and a USA Standard installation kit. They will allow you to upgrade to a Motive Italy gear, which I would highly recommend. The Dura Grip is good and the USA Standard kit is also good. There are better kits, but there are also much worse kits.

Ok, thx, that's a good tip I'll follow up on it. I'm just looking for something that works for street use, a medium quality kit will be good enough for me. I've driven this car 3,400 miles in over a year and a half, so it's light duty. As long as it works, I'm good with it.

Oh, ok. Just went to QP website, and it looks like they are the ones who placed the eBay ad I linked in my OP. Same pictures, same logos. So I guess that answers where the ad came from.

Yip, made me feel better about the deal, now I know where it comes from if I have trouble. When the time comes and I have all the cash I need, I'll peg this one for a closer look. Seems like a pretty good deal over all. Thx for the tip to ID it!
