Engine: 350 HO Deluxe (350ci/330hp)
Transmission: T-5 (Non-WC)
Axle/Gears: Limited Slip 3.23's
Speedo Gears
I have an 85 IROC, 5-speed. I'm considering swapping my 3.23s to 3.42s. Do I need to swap both drive and driven gears to make the speedo read correctly?

Do you know what gears you have now? I think its a 7 tooth and a 18 tooth. You need a 19 tooth driven gear to go with the 7 tooth. Do a search on this board and you might even find the right GM part number.

I think the drive gear is a purple color. If yours is the same then you should be good to go.
